The story

About Your Little Reminder

This year has been one of the hardest of my life. I lost two people who meant so much to me, and found myself trying to navigate grief while still figuring out how to keep moving forward.

There were days I was searching for hope. Days I needed to remind myself I wasn’t alone in what I was feeling. And there were moments I felt guilty for being happy — like finding joy somehow meant I wasn’t grieving, wasn’t missing the people I’d lost.

Through it all, I realized how much a few simple words can mean at just the right moment. A reminder that it’s okay to not be okay. A reminder that you’re allowed to smile again. A reminder that grief and happiness can exist at the same time. A reminder that you are not alone.

That’s where Your Little Reminder began — but it grew into something bigger than the season that started it. Because life isn’t only made of hard days. It’s hard, unexpected, beautiful, messy, exciting — full of moments we never saw coming.

Each day, we share encouragement on Facebook and Instagram. A monthly letter is being prepared for the mailbox — a new letter, an affirmation to keep, and a Pass It On card. We are not mailing yet.
